For 50 years, Dollars for Scholars has been helping students in communities across America pursue postsecondary education. From Maine to California, more than 40,000 dedicated volunteers devote their time and energy to raising funds, supporting students and making a real difference in the lives of those in their community.

Northwest Dollars for Scholars is part of Scholarship America, the nation’s premier non-profit, private-sector scholarship organization, which has received a Four-Star rating from Charity Navigator for eight consecutive years.

Our job is to help our chapters, our volunteers and our students. Since 1987, Northwest Dollars for Scholars has supported over 23,000 students in Washington and Oregon by providing nearly $19 million in scholarships. Welcome New Regional Director Kristen Schriver

Northwest Dollars for Scholars is pleased to announce that Kristen Schriver has joined the organization as Regional Director.

Schriver joined the organization on July 6. She will be responsible for managing and expanding the operations and programs of the Northwest Region, through fundraising, marketing and supporting community-based Dollars for Scholars chapters. In addition, she will work to ensure growth of Chapters and Collegiate Partners in Washington and Oregon.

Schriver has a Bachelors Degree in English and a Masters in Psychology. Her experiences include a strong history of work with volunteers, marketing strategies, and non-profit leadership, including founding the Seattle Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Read More

Free of cost for both students and providers, theWashBoard.org acts as a clearinghouse with screened scholarship information and matches those seeking scholarship support with those looking to provide it.
