Northwest Dollars for Scholars is building scholarship resources in Washington and Oregon to help students achieve their educational goals. We help communities create new chapters and strengthen existing chapters by providing guidance, training, marketing support, resources and best practices.
In this section, you'll find resources and assistance to help your chapter help students as easily, efficiently and effectively as possible. You can:
• Try out MoneyMinder Treasurer Software. MoneyMinder Treasurer Software is a bookkeeping solution designed specifically for the needs of groups just like yours. This online, easy-to-use software is accessible anywhere you have internet access.
Because it's online, new officers have immediate access to data and can get up to speed quickly. From generating reports for meetings, customizing it to the specific activities of your group, to help filling out the 990/EZ, MoneyMinder will help you get the job done faster and easier with better results.
This fall, the Washington Scholarship Coalition, comprised of public and private organizations including Northwest Dollars for Scholars, is launching theWashBoard.org, to make it easier for Washington students to efficiently find and apply for relevant scholarship opportunities.
Free of cost for both students and providers, theWashBoard.org acts as a clearinghouse with screened scholarship information and matches those seeking scholarship support with those looking to provide it.
Go to theWashBoard.org for more information about the scholarship website and to be notified of the launch date.
