A Note from LaCrosse Dollars for Scholars:

Our Scholarships:
We support all LaCrosse High School students.  We have very few students in our school systems which allows us to offer scholarships to all our seniors.  This year, the Class of 2005 had 9 seniors graduate.  We awarded all students a scholarship ranging in the amount of $500 up to $900 each!  It does not matter whether the student is attending a 2-year, 4-year, vocational or technical school.

Our scholarship is awarded to all eligible LaCrosse High School students.  Money is awarded based on the applicant's answer to our essay question, neatness, GPA, community service, financial need, and leadership.

The application is available in the spring with the deadline usually in mid to late April.

Our Fundraising Event:
Our dinner and auction, held Saturday, June 18th, 2005 raised $20,000!  We are a small community of 350 people and we had 279 guests attend our alumni/community dinner and auction!  We hold this event every other year in conjunction with our town's celebration called Farmer's Festival.
