A Note from San Juan Island DFS Foundation:

Our Awards:
San Juan Island DFS gives community service awards. Students may qualify by documenting 80 hours of community service during high school and enrolling in post-secondary education.  Applications are due on May 1 of each year.  Students may contact the Friday Harbor High School Counselor's office for a list of approved, non-profit volunteer organizations and contact numbers of contact San Juan Island DFS board members directly for referral.

Our Fundraising:
In our six years of fundraising we have given out nearly $100,000 to over 100 graduates.  San Juan Island Dollars for Scholars Foundation holds an annual dine-out night, Dining for Scholars.  Local restaurants agree to donate a portion of their proceeds from that night to the organization to award as scholarships for local students.
