Washington Dollars for Scholars recognized the outstanding efforts of the community volunteers from Vashon Community Scholarship Foundation for raising over $1 million for scholarships in their community, by inducting the chapter into the Million Dollar Club. A feat like this does not happen overnight. This chapter has worked tirelessly for years to ensure that the cause of education is not forgotten in their community. Through years of many fundraisers and keeping their members motivated, Vashon Community Scholarship Foundation is a true testament to the Dollars for Scholars mission of getting more student off to school with a little help from the community.
